AR authentication


If you have Remedy AR System integrated with BMC Helix Single Sign-On,  you can configure a realm for AR authentication. Remedy AR System serves as an identity provider (IdP) in AR authentication flow.

The following table provides the AR authentication login flow:

BMC Helix SSO server determines that the Remedy AR System server-based authentication should be used.

BMC Helix SSO web application redirects an end user to the BMC Helix SSO login page.

The user enters credentials. The Remedy AR System then checks if the credentials are valid.

The BMC Helix SSO server communicates with the Remedy AR System server to authenticate the user.

The Remedy AR System server confirms the user authentication.
