Creating a hosted SP

If, for example, you are using a BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server as an IdP, the certificate from that server must be exported from the <installationDirectory>/tomcat/conf/keystore.p12 file and imported into the cacerts.p12 of the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server that is providing the SP role.

To create a hosted SP

  1. From the Common Tasks tab, click Create Hosted Service Provider.
This displays the main configuration page for a new SP.
  2. Provide the hosted SP information. The [confluence_table-plus] macro is a standalone macro and it cannot be used inline.
  3. Click Configure.
  4. If you want to create a remote IdP as this time, click Yes and enter the URL from where the remote IdP's metadata is fetched.

    Note

If you want to register a remote IdP later, access the Common Tasks tab.

  5. Navigate to Federation > Entity Providers <SP> link > Assertion Processing
  6. In the Adapter field, enter the class name, com.bmc.atrium.sso.opensso.extensions.samlv2.AtriumSSOSPAdapter and Save.
