Registering a remote SP

On the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On IdP, the remote SP must be registered.

To register a remote SP

  1. From the Common Tasks tab, click Register Remote Service Provider.
  2. Select BmcRealm.
  3. Enter the URL to access the metadata for the remote SP or select a local metadata file.

SP metadata

The metadata for a Service Provider hosted on an BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server can be accessed with the following URL syntax:



In this case:

  • host is the FQDN of the Atrium Single Sign-On server hosting the SP.
  • port is the port used for secure communications of the Atrium Single Sign-On server hosting the SP.
  • entityid is the name of the SP hosted by the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server.
