Adding another CA certificate

Adding another certificate is necessary when Common Access Card (CAC) authentication is used, the Department of Defense (DoD) issues new CA certificates, or you are using SSL with LDAP for authentication. By default, the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On truststore already contains the current certificates for CAC.

The procedures for adding another CA certificate are the same as for importing a CA certificate. See Importing-CA-certificates-in-Windows or Importing CA certificates in Unix.

Warning

Important

Replacing the self-signed certificate on the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server invalidates the certificates that have already been accepted by users. In addition, you will be required to install the new certificate into the truststore of all integrated BMC applications.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
