Removing a node from a cluster deletes the node permanently from the cluster. You can remove nodes by using either the uninstall, dsreplication, or dsconfig.bat utility.

To remove a node by using the uninstall utility

  1. Bring all the nodes of the cluster online (if possible).
  2. After the cluster is online, run the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On uninstall utility to remove the node installation.

To remove a node manually by using the dsreplication utility

  1. Block access at the load balancer
  2. Log into the Administrator console and navigate to Configuration > Servers and Sites
  3. Select the node you want to remove and click Delete.
