Removing damaged nodes from a cluster

When a node cannot be brought back online, the node must be manually removed from the cluster configuration. For example, a node cannot be brought back online when there is a complete hardware failure.

To remove damaged nodes

  1. Bring as many cluster nodes online as possible.
  2. Log into the Administrator console and navigate to Configuration > Servers and Sites
The Servers and Sites sub-tab allows you to view the cluster configuration.
  3. Select the cluster members that need to be removed.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Follow the instructions in Removing nodes.
