Configuring session parameters

The following topics provide information and instructions for configuring session parameters:

Configurable session parameters

The following parameters are configurable for BMC Atrium Single Sign-On:

  • Maximum Session Time (Default: 120 minutes)
  • Idle Time (Default: 30 minutes)
  • Maximum Sessions (Default: 5)
  • Maximum Caching Time (Default: 3 minutes)

To modify session parameters

  1. Navigate to the Sessions link, Configuration > Global > Session link
  2. In the Dynamic Attributes section, modify your attributes.

  3. If the Active User Session parameter is set, see the Global Attributes section for additional attributes associated with user sessions. 

    Warning

    To enforce the maximum number of user sessions, the Enable Quota Constraints attribute in the Global Attributes section must be enabled.

  4. Click Save.
     Any committed changes takes effect immediately. A server restart is not necessary.
