The BMC License Usage Collection Utility supports the following BMC products to run license usage reports:

BMC License Usage Collection Utility supports the latest BMC product versions to run license usage reports. However, BMC License Usage Collection Utility displays the product versions based on your updated version of the utility. You might see the older BMC product versions on the BMC License Usage Collection Utility UI.

Remedy AR System Server (ARS)

If you are running the Remedy AR System Server 19.02.01 on UNIX platform and you need to generate a license compliance report, perform the steps specified in the  workaround of the defect SW00558482to make the produse.exe utility work.

Notes:

  • BMC License Usage Collection Utility does not supports Remedy AR System Server 19.02.00. Issue occurs while running the produse.exe file.
  • If you are running the Remedy AR System Server 19.02.00 and you need to generate a license compliance report, see BMC Communities.
    Or
    You can send the LicenseReport.txt file located at <Drive where ARS is installed>:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\Arserver\Db to the BMC License Compliance team.
