Supported languages and locales

The BMC License Collection Utility supports the following languages and locales:

  • English (en_US, en)
  • German (de_DE, de)

The product documentation is only available in English.

Note

Currently you can only install the license utility for one language at a time. If you need to switch languages, you will need to uninstall, then reinstall in the preferred language. See Uninstalling and Performing-the-installation.

English language considerations

Special characters are allowed only in server username and password fields.

German language considerations

German input characters and numerals are only allowed in server username and password fields for:

  • Remedy AR System Server (ARS)
  • BMC Client Management (BCM)
