3.6.00.01: Patch 1 for version 3.6.00

The License Usage Collection Utility 3.6.00.01 patch contains one defect fix.

Defect

  • DRZJZ-1016: LUCU 3.6.00 failed to run BMC Discovery (ADDM) 11.1 for HTTPs protocol 

Fixed solution

  • The 3.6.00.01 patch will resolve the issue of running the license report for the BMC Discovery (ADDM) 11.1 server running on HTTPs protocol through LUCU 3.6.00.

Downloading the patch

From the Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website, download the Fix pack file 3.6.00.01.zip for Windows.

Installing the patch

  1. Launch the "services.msc" using the Windows Run command. 
  2. Locate and stop the LUCService.
  3. Locate the License Utility Installation directory on your machine. 
  4. Close the running instance of the License Utility.
  5. Copy the ui.jar and get_license_usage_addm.bat files at location : \\License_Utility_Installation_Directory\LicenseUsageCollector\licenseusagecollector\controller\bin
  6. Relaunch the License Utility UI.
  7. Launch the "services.msc" using Windows Run command. Locate and start the LUCService.
