Configuring the BMC Helix Innovation Studio cloud connector


As an automation engineer, you configure the connector and the actions supported by the connector are displayed while creating a policy. When BMC Helix Intelligent Automation receives an event from BMC Helix AIOps or BMC Helix Operations Management, the policy that matches the trigger condition is run. 

To configure the BMC Helix Innovation Studio connector

  1. In the BMC Helix Intelligent Automation console, click Connectors > Available Connectors
  2. Click Configure against the BMC Helix Innovation Studio connector.
  3. Enter a unique name for the connector.
  4. Enter the BMC Helix Innovation Studio endpoint URL. 
    You specify the BMC Helix tenant URL where the BMC Helix Innovation Studio application is available. 
    For example: https://helix-tenant-url.bmc.com
  5. Enter the username and password. 
  6. Click Save.
    The connector is saved and appears under the Configured Connectors tab with the status as Connected.
    If the connector is not successfully connected, the status appear as Disconnected. Click the Info Icon.png icon to view the error message.
