Browser requirements


This topic presents browser requirements and the browser settings for TrueSight Smart Reporting for Server Automation.

TrueSight Smart Reporting has been tested on the browsers documented on this page. However, TrueSight Smart Reporting can be used with all browsers that are supported by Yellowfin. For more information, see the Yellowfin documentation (https://wiki.yellowfinbi.com/display/user80).

The following table lists the browser requirements of TrueSight Smart Reporting for Server Automation.


Web browser settings to access the console

To access the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse console in various browsers, you must change the browser settings, as follows:

  • To view the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse console with Microsoft Internet Explorer, you must enable the latest versions of TLS and SSL.
  1. Click Tools > Internet Options.
  2. On the Advanced tab, navigate to the Security settings.
  3. Select the Use TLS <latestVersion> and Use SSL <latestVersion> options.
  • Ensure that JavaScript is enabled for your web browser, as follows.

    To enable JavaScript on Microsoft Internet Explorer
    1. Click Tools > Internet Options
    2. On the Security tab, click the Custom level button. 
    3. Navigate to Scripting > Active scripting, and select the Enable option.
    To enable JavaScript on Mozilla
    1. Click Tools > Internet Options.
    2. On the Content tab, select the Enable JavaScript option.
