Installing TrueSight Smart Reporting silently

Where you are in the Installation process

To install TrueSight Smart Reporting silently

Do the following:

1. Log in to the computer where you want to upgrade TrueSight Smart Reporting.
2. On the host computer, ensure that you have Administrator privileges.

3. Create a silent option file, for example silentinstall.properties, with the following properties:

   lang=en

   installpath=/data1/TrueSightSmartReporting

   ServicePort=8444

   CreateYellowfinDB=true

   CreateYellowfinDBUser=true

   DatabaseType=PostgreSQL

   DatabaseHostname=localhost

   DatabasePort=5432

   DatabaseName=yellowfindb

   DatabaseUser=yfuser

   DatabasePassword=bmcAdm1n

   DatabaseDBAUser=postgres

   DatabaseDBAPassword=bmcAdm1n

   ORACLEMODE=Service

   Warning

   Note: For the Oracle database

   Use the ORACLEMODE property if you are using the Oracle database for deployment.

4. In the command-line interface, run the following command:

   java -jar TrueSight-SmartReporting-19.01.jar -silent <silent option file path>
