Uninstalling

Once you uninstall TrueSight Smart Reporting, all TrueSight Smart Reporting reports are deleted from the system.

Complete the following steps to uninstall TrueSight Smart Reporting:

1. If you have a component added in TrueSight Smart Reporting, delete the component. See Post-installation-tasks to know more about deleting a component.
2. Close the TrueSight Smart Reporting instance.

3. Stop TrueSight Smart Reporting. 

   Note

   In non-English locales, the TrueSightSmartReporting service appears as the Yellowfin service.

   Do one of the following:

   • (Windows) Stop the TrueSightSmartReporting service.
   • (Linux) Navigate to the <installed_dir>/appserver/bin/ folder and run the following command:
     ./shutdown.sh
4. Navigate to the <installed_dir>/Uninstaller folder.
5. Do one of the following:
   • (Windows) Double click the uninstaller.jar file.
   • (Linux) Run the following command:
     Java -jar uninstaller.jar
6. In the Uninstaller window, select the Force the deletion of <installed_dir>\SmartReporting check box, and click Uninstall.
7. After the uninstall process is finished, click Quit.
8. (Windows) Manually delete the TrueSightSmartReporting service by using one of the following commands depending on your locale:
   • (For English locales) sc delete TrueSightSmartReporting
   • (For non-English locales) sc delete Yellowfin
9. Delete the TrueSight Smart Reporting folder from your computer.
