Deployment architecture

TrueSight Smart Reporting provides a dynamic platform to display reports from the data that is generated by the components that integrate with TrueSight Smart Reporting.

The following diagram displays a typical deployment of TrueSight Smart Reporting with TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse:

TrueSight Smart Reporting version 19.01 data flow

The following data flow is displayed in the deployment architecture diagram.

  1. TrueSight Server Automation sites send data to the extract, transform, and load (ETL) tool.
  2. The ETL tool integrates with the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse master and work repositories to perform its operations.
  3. The ETL tool transfers the data to the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse database.
  4. The TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse database interacts with the Authentication server for user authentication.
  5. A web application for authentication is hosted on the web server.
  6. The web application interacts with TrueSight Smart Reporting for cross-launch.
  7. TrueSight Smart Reporting interacts with the TrueSight Smart Reporting repository database and TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse database to obtain data for reports.
