Opening TrueSight Smart Reporting 1

As an administrator, you can open TrueSight Smart Reporting in various ways depending on your role.

For a TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse administrator

The TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse administrator can access TrueSight Smart Reporting in the following ways:

• By clicking Reports in the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse console. This enables the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse administrator to perform activities like 
  • Access out-of-the-box views
  • Schedule reports through FTP
  • Change a datasource password
  • Export and import report content

To view the TrueSight Smart Reporting dashboard, perform the following steps:

1. To view the home page for TrueSight Smart Reporting on Microsoft Windows or UNIX systems, click Start > Programs > TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse > Console.
   Alternatively, you can enter the following address into a web browser: 
   https://reportsServer:portNumber/tssa-dw
   • reportsServer is the server that hosts TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse. 
   • portNumber is the web server secure port that you specified during installation. 
2. In the User Name and Password fields, enter the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse administrator (DWAdmin) credentials. By default, the password is hidden. To view the password, click .
3. In Site, select a site. The Primary Site is the default site.
4. In Authentication Method, select a authentication method. SRP is the default authentication method.
5. Click LOG IN.
6. Click Reports.

• By logging in to TrueSight Smart Reporting. This enables the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse administrator to perform activities like add TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse as a component in TrueSight Smart Reporting. To log in to TrueSight Smart Reporting , perform the following steps:

1. Use the following URL to open the TrueSight Smart Reporting login page:
2. https://<TrueSight Smart Reporting hostname>:port/tsr 
3. In the Log in as list, select TrueSight Smart Automation Data Warehouse - Admin.
4. In the User Name and Password fields, enter the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse administrator (DWAdmin) credentials.
5. Click LOG IN.

For a TrueSight Smart Reporting administrator

1. Use the following URL to open the TrueSight Smart Reporting login page:
   https://<TrueSight Smart Reporting hostname>:port/tsr 
2. In the Log in as list, select TrueSight Smart Reporting - Admin.
3. In the User Name and Password fields, enter the TrueSight Smart Reporting administrator credentials.
4. Click LOG IN.
