Modifying the encryption key 1
This command changes the default encryption key that is present in the appserver > conf folder:
modifyencryptionkey
Windows
TSR.bat modifyencryptionkey -u <username> -w <password> -d <hostname> -p <portNumber> -key <sixteenCharacterKey> -s
Linux
./TSR.sh modifyencryptionkey -u <username> -w <password> -d <hostname> -p <portNumber> -key <sixteenCharacterKey> -s
When you change the default encryption key, all the earlier encrypted passwords in TrueSight Smart Reporting are updated to the new encrypted password.
Syntax
This command has the following syntax:
modifyencryptionkey -u <username> -w <password> -d <hostname> -p <portNumber> -key <sixteenCharacterKey> -s
where angle brackets (< >) indicate a user-defined variable value.
