Deleting TrueSight Smart Reporting residual files


The following command force deletes all residual files of TrueSight Smart Reporting if the uninstallation procedure does not remove them:

forcedelete

Residual files can remain in one or all of the following scenarios:

  • The TrueSight Smart Reporting service is down and you need to manually remove it from TrueSight Presentation Server.
  • There was a network issue while removing TrueSight Smart Reporting.

The forcedelete command does not remove TrueSight Presentation Server from the computer. It removes all the TrueSight Smart Reporting configurations that were associated with the TrueSight Presentation Server instance. After running this command, you can register TrueSight Smart Reporting again with the same or any another instance of TrueSight Presentation Server.

Syntax

This command has the following syntax:

forcedelete -u <username> -w <password> -d <hostname> -p <portNumber>

where angle brackets (< >) indicate a user-defined variable value.
