Troubleshooting common content synchronization issues

Synchronization of common content fails

Synchronization of common content fails due to the following reasons:

You get the following error message:

Exception while executing content sync process. Please contact your administrator !!!

Multiple reasons can cause this error.

Contact BMC Customer Support.

You get the following error message:

Client org is not onboarded/offboarded. Not getting information from smart reporting server info form.

The client organization is not onboarded or offboarded.

Manually onboard or offboard the client organization, and run the RSR:ContentSync escalation. For more information, see Manually running an escalation in Remedy AR System.

The content synchronization process stops responding

The content synchronization process stops responding due to the following reasons:

You get the following warning message:

Admin User not present in Shared org!! Please check your configuration.

The shared organization does not have an administrator user.

Ensure that the shared organization has at least one administrator user. For more information, see Synchronizing-common-content-across-multiple-tenants.

You get the following warning message:

Shared org is not present!! Please check your configuration.

During the onboarding process, the shared organization was not created.

Offboard and onboard the client organization and manually run the RSR:ContentSync escalation. For more information, see Manually running an escalation in Remedy AR System.
