Granting permission to view and export report SQL statements

The Report Details button on an active report's menu bar allows users to view a useful collection of information on the report.

The SQL Statement tab in the Report Details window contains the SQL generated by Remedy Smart Reporting for the report. This tab also contains an Export SQL button, allowing users to export the query to an sql file.

To restrict this tab, use role permissions so that only advanced users (with the Public Content Writer & Collaborator - Advanced role) can view it. 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
