Starting the BusinessObjects Enterprise servers manually
The ccm.sh script provides you with a command-line interface to the various BusinessObjects Enterprise server components. In BusinessObjects Enterprise 4.0 SP4, the installation setup program starts and enables servers automatically.
To manually start and enable the servers
- Navigate to the install_directory/sap_bobj directory that was created by the installation.
- Start all of the BusinessObjects Enterprise servers as daemons: $ccm.sh -start all -username <username> -password <password>
- Enable all the BusinessObjects Enterprise servers:
- If you are using the default ports for the CMS, use the following command to start:
$ccm.sh -enable all-username <username> -password <password> - If you are using a different port number for the CMS, type the following command:
servername : portnumber ./ccm.sh -enable all -cms
The daemons are now listening on the appropriate ports.
- If you are using the default ports for the CMS, use the following command to start:
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
