Changing passwords using the Central Management Console

Use the following procedure for changing the password of a BusinessObjects Enterprise user.

To change a BusinessObjects Enterprise user's password

  1. Log on to the Central Management Console as Administrator, and type the password for the BMC Reporting Foundation server.
  2. Select Users and Groups.
     A list of all BusinessObjects users is displayed.
  3. Click UserList, right-click the user name, and select Properties for changing the user password.
  4. Type the new password in the Password and Confirm box.
  5. Click Save and Close.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
