Migrating to Sybase SQL Anywhere
The default bundled database for the Central Management Server (CMS) in the BMC Reporting Foundation 4.1 full installation is Sybase SQL Anywhere. If you upgraded your deployment from BRF 4.0 to 4.1 using the update installation program, and if you use the bundled IBM DB2 Workgroup Edition (Solaris) or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express (Windows) database server, these database servers are preserved as your CMS database. You may continue to use these bundled database servers with no further action, or you can choose to migrate your existing databases to Sybase SQL Anywhere. For more information about Migrating to Sybase SQL Anywhere, see Migrating-Microsoft-SQL-Server-or-IBM-DB2-to-Sybase-SQL-Anywhere.
