Installing SAP BusinessObjects 4.1 SP3 Patch 3

Use the following procedure to install the SAP BusinessObjects 4.1 SP3 Patch 3:

  1. From the files you downloaded from the BMC EPD site, select and decompress BRF_SOL_SERVER_41_SP3_P3.tar.
  2. Navigate to <InstallerLocation> and run setup.sh file to start the installation.
  3. On the Configured Destination Folder screen, specify the installation directory. You must enter the directory where the modifyOrRemoveProducts.sh file is located.
  4. On the Check Prerequisites screen, review the results of the check. To continue, press Enter.
  5. On the Welcome screen, press Enter to continue.
  6. On the License Agreement screen, read the license agreement, and press Enter.
  7. On the Existing CMS Deployment Information screen, enter the CMS credentials and press Enter.
  8. On the Start Installation screen, press Enter, to being the upgrade.
  9. At the installation complete prompt, press Enter to complete the upgrade.
