Accessing and navigating the Smart Reporting Admin console
An administrator can use the Admin Console to perform the administrative activities in BMC Helix ITSM: Smart Reporting(Smart Reporting). To perform additional administrative functionalities, a super admin user can directly access the Admin Console by using the URL http://RemedySmartReportingServerHostName:port/AdminConsole/#.
To access the Administration console
- Log in to Mid Tier as a Smart Reporting administrator.
- Select Applications > Smart Reporting > Smart Reporting Console.
From the left navigation panel, select Administration > Admin Console.
License Days Left
The license countdown provides the super administrator user with the status of the product license. The countdown figure changes to red when there is less than 45 days left before the expiration date.
Configuration items
On the Administration page, you can access the following pages to make configuration changes.

Images & Maps | Load new images into the system, and define items such as raster maps and WMS layers. Raster maps are images with each zone specified as a unique color, which defines the zones to be replaced by heat map coloring. | |
Email Template | Customize the look-and-feel of system-generated emails. |
Administration items
On the Administration page, you can access the following pages to make administrative changes:

Dashboard Management | View all available dashboards to check their status, subscriptions, and report numbers. Additionally, edit and delete selected tabs. | |
System Information | View current system information including version details, security settings, and system resources. Support might ask you to export system information to an .xml file to assist with troubleshooting. | |
Content Translation | Enable the system to provide User Entered reporting content across multiple languages by allowing users to translate content such as Report Names, Column Titles, Chart Labels, and so on. | |
Client Organizations | View and manage a list of client organizations. Note: Client organizations is visible to super administrator users only. | |
Export | Export content definitions to .xml files for migration and backup purposes. | |
Import | Import content definitions from .xml files for migration and backup purposes. |
