Modifying consent for data collection


To modify consent for data collection as a tenant administrator

As a tenant administrator, you can change the data collection settings for the entire organization and for your account. The data collection settings are displayed when you log on to BMC Helix Dashboardsfor the first time.

  1. Click the user icon grafana_profiles_22_2_Apr.pngon the top-right corner, and select Profile.
  2. In Analytics & Improvements, read the details about the data that will get collected and the purpose for which it is used.
  3. Enable or disable one or both the options:
    • For my organization: Data collection for all users.
    • For my account: Data collection for the user account of the tenant administrator.

To modify consent for data collection as a user

  1. Click the user icon grafana_profiles_22_2_Apr.png on the top-right corner, and select Profile.
  2. Under Analytics & Improvements, read the details about the data that will get collected and the purpose for which it is used.
    If the tenant administrator opted out of the data collection settings, the individual users will not see the Analytics & Improvements option in Profile.
  3. Select the appropriate options based on your preferences.
