Onboarding Manager Dashboard

As an onboarding manager, use the Onboarding Manager Dashboard to view various statistics regarding the onboarding process of new employees. By using this dashboard, track the status of new hires, check for past due tasks, and take appropriate actions to ensure successful onboarding.

Example: View onboarding requests and past due tasks

Ajay, an onboarding manager in Apex Global wants to view the total number of new hires joining a particular location in the current year and track the progress by checking the corresponding status.

Ajay looks at the onboarding requests and checks for requests at risk. Once identified, he will follow up with the new hires or other departments, as required.

Ajay performs the following steps to get the required information:

  1. Ajay logs in to BMC Helix Dashboards and opens the Onboarding Manager Dashboard.
  2. In the Onboarding Manager Dashboard, in the country and location filter, he selects the joining location.
  3. In the joining date filter, he selects This year.
    The dashboard displays the relevant data.

Ajay views the Total request panel and the Onboarding requests with past due tasks panel to see the total number of onboarding requests and requests with past due tasks.

To view the Onboarding Manager Dashboard

  1. From the navigation menu menu_icon.png, click Dashboards.

  2. Click the Helix Business Workflows folder and then click Onboarding Manager Dashboard.

    Tip: Quick access from the home page

    To quickly open the dashboard from the home page, mark it as a favorite by using the star icon. Additionally, after you open a dashboard, it is available under Recently viewed dashboards on the home page.


Panels in the Onboarding Manager Dashboard

The following table describes the panels in the Onboarding Manager Dashboard:

Dashboard filter

Displays the following filters to view the information on the dashboard:

  • Country
  • Location
  • Joining Date

By default, the dashboard displays data for the last 30 days. You can filter this data by using the joining date filter.

Request statistics

Displays the number of onboarding requests based on the following status values:

  • Total requests
  • Upcoming
  • In Progress
  • Completed
  • Canceled
  • Average time to onboard

Completed onboarded requests trend

Displays the trend of the number of onboarding requests for the selected date range.

Onboarded requests by status

Displays the number of requests based on the following status:

  • Upcoming
  • In progress
  • Completed
  • Canceled

To view the requests for a particular status, click the corresponding area on the donut chart.

Average new hire survey rating

Displays the trend of the number of onboarding requests for the selected date and time range.

Onboarding requests

Displays the number of onboarding requests based on the following details:

  • New Hire
  • Status
  • Joining Date
  • Job Title
  • Location

You can click New Hire to view the Onboarding Request Details-Drill Through report that provides the new hire information, associated tasks, task summary and additional request details.

Onboarding requests with past due tasks

Displays the number of onboarding requests with past due tasks.
