Communications protocols

The BMC Dashboards for BSM product uses various communication protocols.

To access BMC Dashboards for BSM, you use HTTP or HTTPS. The following table lists the communication protocols used for the data sources.

Warning

Note

You can use native, secure drivers with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, but you must install and configure them yourself as they are not installed by the BMC Dashboads for BSM product.
