Verifying the installation

This section describes how to verify that the BMC Dashboards for BSM consoles are installed.

To verify that the administrator console is installed on Microsoft Windows

  1. In the Start menu, click Admin Console.

    The administrator console starts.

To verify that the executive console is installed on Microsoft Windows

  1. In the Start menu, click Executive Console.

    The executive console starts.

To verify that the administrator console is installed on UNIX or Linux

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. In the address bar, enter the URL for the administrator console as specified on the final page of the installation program.

    The administrator console starts.

To verify that the executive console is installed on UNIX or Linux

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. In the address bar, enter the URL for the executive console as specified on the final page of the installation program.

    The executive console starts.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
