Installing and configuring the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server

This section contains information about installing the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server.

The BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server is available as part of the installation media that you downloaded from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website.

If you are planning to use BMC Atrium SSO as your method of authentication, you must install and configure the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server before installing BMC Dashboards for BSM. You must also ensure that the BMC Dashboards for BSM administrator and any users that you want to use in BMC Dashboards for BSM exist in the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On server.

Note

The BMC Atrium Single Sign-On user that is selected to be the BMC Dashboards for BSM administrator must be a member of the BmcSearchAdmins group in BMC Atrium Single Sign-On.
