Consoles in BMC Dashboards for BSM
BMC Dashboards for BSM provides administrator and user access through the consoles discussed in this section.
The product is administered and used through the following consoles:
- The executive console displays the dashboards and pods, and it allows executive users to review multiple types of data at the same time.
- The administrator console enables the following configuration and creation activities:
- Configuring connections to the following data sources:
- BMC Remedy Action Request System (BMC Remedy AR System)
- BMC Service Impact Manager (BMC SIM)
- BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management
- BMC Transaction Management Application Response Time (BMC TM ART)
Importing custom pods stored in Dashboard archive (DAR) files
- Configuring the list of companies that can appear in the users’ pods
- Configuring users and roles
- Creating and configuring custom data sources, data views, and pods
- Configuring installed pods
- Creating and configuring user dashboards and dashboard templates
- Configuring connections to the following data sources:
