Displaying BMC Service Request Management pods for companies defined as Global


The Service Request Management pods now display data that is associated with companies defined as Global in BMC Service Request Management.

If you request data for a company that is not in the list of company names in BMC Remedy AR System, that data is associated with the Global company identifier. You can select the Global company option and view the data for any company associated with this option.

  1. Under POD Configuration, go to the Service Request Management.
  2. In the Service Request Summary by Business Service window, go to the Requested for Company tab.
    The Global company name is displayed.
  3. Select - Global - and click Add.
  4. Click Preview to view the changes; then click Save.

    If the Global company name that is displayed is different in BMC Remedy AR System, you can update the name using the dil.properties file located in the DashboardInstall\DIL\CIS\conf\dil\ directory.

    For example, change the default Global company name from - Global - to the required name as given below:

    #Global Company for SRM

    srm.global.company=- Global -
