23.1.02
Send notification to user roles
In addition to sending notifications to specific users directly or based on the groups they are associated with, you can send notifications to specific roles. All the users who are assigned to the role automatically receive the notification. For more information, see Managing-notification-profiles.

Support for multiple Organization Units in LDAP sync agent
LDAP sync agent supports multiple organization units for group to user mapping. For more information, see Downloading-and-configuring-the-LDAP-sync-agent.
Consent for data collection
When you log on to BMC Helix Portal as a tenant administrator, select whether you want to allow the product to collect information about your product usage. You can modify your organization's data consent from Configure > Settings page. Individual users can opt out of data consent from their profile.

23.1.01
Deactivate users
A tenant administrator can deactivate users to prevent them from accessing BMC Helix Portal. This is helpful when there is a security breach or when a user is no longer authorized to use BMC Helix Portal. For more information, see Setting-up-users.

23.1.00
The following video (1:30) provides a high-level summary of the new features and enhancements in BMC Helix Portal 23.1.
Audit dashboard enhancements
The following updates to the BMC Helix Portal Audit dashboard are available:
- With the Application filter, select the application for which you want to view audit records. For example, select ims to view the audit records for the activities performed in BMC Helix Portal. The details of the report help the administrator to check the audit status over a certain period and ensure the delivery of consistent and reliable processes.
- For each filter, select multiple options to view specific records, which reduces your search time.
For more information, see BMC Helix Portal Audit dashboard in the BMC Helix Dashboards documentation.

UI idle timeout
Idle timeout is the maximum period during which a session in a BMC application integrated with BMC Helix Portal can be idle before the user is automatically logged off. The UI idle timeout enhances security by decreasing the risk of unauthorized access to BMC applications.
By default, the UI idle timeout is not enabled. To set the UI idle timeout, request BMC SaaS Operations team at BMC Support.
