Control-M/Server PACTV.9.0.21.383

BMC Software is notifying you that an urgent Control-M/Server patch, PACTV.9.0.21.383, will be applied on the following dates, to correct bug CTM-12176 in Control-M/Server.

  • Sunday, 20 April 2025: All non-production Control-M SaaS tenants.
  • Sunday, 27 April 2025: All production Control-M SaaS tenants.
Warning

Important

  • Control-M/Server downtime is expected to last no longer than an hour. Any job that is scheduled to begin execution during this period might not execute.
  • The Control-M SaaS web application will remain available throughout the update.
  • Tenants will be upgraded during the standard upgrade and maintenance windows, as described in BMC Control-M SaaS Upgrade Policy.

Corrected Problem

CTM-12176: In rare cases, jobs fail to start executing even though all prerequisites are met.
