Control-M for Airflow Replacement

BMC is alerting you to a change in support, in accordance with the BMC Software Product Support Policy.

This technical bulletin announces that Control-M for Airflow is now in Limited Support until 1 May 2026. It is no longer enhanced, and BMC will handle only critical bugs.

BMC recommends that you use the Control-M for Apache Airflow or Control-M for GCP Composer integrations to replace Control-M for Airflow. These integrations are available for both self-hosted and SaaS environments. BMC recommends that you run the Control-M Migration Tool for Integrations to migrate Control-M for Airflow jobs on Windows or UNIX. This eliminates the need to manually redefine job definitions. BMC also supports additional plug-ins that integrate with managed Airflow services, which include Control-M for Amazon MWAA and Control-M for Astronomer.
