Control-M Release Process
BMC Software is continuing to enhance the Control-M release process that was announced in version 9.0.21.100. This provides you with new functionality and bug fixes at a faster cadence, and enables BMC to quickly handle new vulnerabilities and security requirements.
Therefore, each release includes smaller enhancements in addition to bug fixes and security updates. The current and upcoming releases include the following:
- 9.0.22.100 (22.1): Includes minor enhancements in addition to bug fixes and security updates
- 9.0.22.200 (22.2): Includes minor enhancements in addition to bug fixes and security updates
- 9.0.23 (23): Includes major enhancements in addition to bug fixes and security updates
Each release is currently expected to be delivered at a standard date in each year. In addition, BMC will provide two cumulative GA patches between each release.
Automation API and new integrations will continue their regular cadence. BMC expects to deliver a One Agent delivery between the two releases.
