Before You Begin
- Verify that Control-M/EM 9.0.21.300 is installed before you apply this patch.
Begin
- Download the installation package from Control-M/EM 9.0.21 Patches.
- Log in to the account where Control-M/EM is installed, copy the installation package to a temporary directory on your local hard drive (not a network drive), and then extract the package.
- Set execution flags for the patch installation file using the following command:
chmod +x <temporary directory>/PANFT.9.0.21.322_Linux-x86_64_INSTALL.BIN - Stop all Control-M/EM components in all Control-M/EM environments.
- In a High Availability environment, stop the Control-M/EM Configuration Agent on the non-active environment to avoid automatic failover.
- Run the following script from the Control-M/EM Home directory:
<temporary directory>/PANFT.9.0.21.322_Linux-x86_64_INSTALL.BIN - Follow the on-screen instructions until the installation is complete.
- Start all Control-M/EM components.
- In a High Availability environment, do the following:
- Verify that the Control-M/EM Configuration Agent on the non-active environment is up after the installation completes.
- Repeat the entire procedure on the non-active environment.

- Log in to the account where Control-M/EM is installed, copy the installation package to a temporary directory on your local hard drive (not a network drive), and then extract the package.
- Stop all Control-M/EM components in all Control-M/EM environments.
- In a High Availability environment, stop the Control-M/EM Configuration Agent on the non-active environment to avoid automatic failover.
- Double-click the PANFT.9.0.21.322_windows_x86_64.exe file.

- Select Uninstall.
- In a High Availability environment, repeat the previous steps on the non-active environment.
- Start all Control-M/EM components.
- In a High Availability environment, verify that the Control-M/EM Configuration Agent on the non-active environment is up after the installation completes.
