Control-M/EM PANFT.9.0.21.304

BMC Software is releasing Control-M client patch PANFT.9.0.21.304 to correct the following problems in the Control-M Configuration Manager (CCM) on Control-M/EM 9.0.21.300.

Verify that Control-M/EM 9.0.21.300 and Control-M/EM server patch PANFT.9.0.21.302 are installed before you install this patch.

CTM-11984	The following error message appears in the CCM when it opens in compatibility mode and after you upgrade to Control-M/EM 9.0.21.300 and install patch PANFT.9.0.21.302: CCM Exception was raised. Action performed: Handle Properties Pane. Exception Message: Input string was not in a correct format.
CTM-11805	The compatibility version number appears next to the Control-M/Server version number in the Version column in the CCM after you install patch PANFT.9.0.21.302, as follows: 9.0.21.300(Compatibility: 9.0.20.200)

Installing the Patch on Windows

This procedure describes how to install patch PANFT.9.0.21.304 on Windows. You must install this patch on every environment where Control-M client is installed.

Before You Begin

Verify that Control-M/EM 9.0.21.300 Control-M/EM server patch PANFT.9.0.21.302 are installed before you install this patch.

Begin

Log in to the account where Control-M/EM is installed.
Download the installation package from Control-M/EM 9.0.21 Patches.
Save the downloaded installation package to a temporary directory on your local hard drive (not a network drive).
Close all open instances of Control-M client and CCM.
From a command line, run the following command:
<Temporary_Directory>\PANFT.9.0.21.304_windows_x86_64.exe
Follow the on-screen instructions until the installation is complete.
You can now reopen Control-M client and the CCM.
