Control-M Web Supported Capabilities in 9.0.21.300


The following capabilities are now available in Control-M Web version 9.0.21.300 (new capabilities are marked in BLUE):

Navigation and User Experience Enhancements

  • Application menu improves the navigation between domains.

Planning Domain

  • New actions toolbar and planning pallet.
  • Set your preferred language to simplified or traditional Chinese.
  • Workspaces: An environment where you can create multiple workflows using folders, jobs, and dependencies.
    • Create, save, and load Workspaces.
    • Export Workspaces compatible with XML versions 9.0.00, 9.0.18, 9.0.19, 9.0.20, and 9.0.21.
    • Create workflows for all Control-M supported job types.
    • Copy, cut, and delete jobs and folders in the Workspace, including Events.
    • Edit job properties, including scheduling, prerequisites, and actions.
    • View neighborhood jobs to locate predecessor and successor jobs.
    • Define the preferred Event format to connect jobs in the Workspace.

      • Private Viewpoints: Viewpoints that are created in Control-M Web and are only available to the user that created it.
    • Control which hierarchical entities appear in a Viewpoint, such as Server, Folder, Application, Sub-application without changing the Viewpoint definition.
  • Archive Search
    • Search archived jobs using advanced search criteria.
  • Run selected jobs and folders without switching to the Planning Domain.
  • Services
    • View defined services in a dedicated dashboard.
    • Complete service details, including errors, logs, parameters, and related tickets.
    • Zoom into the service flow-map to investigate errors and troubleshoot.
  • Alerts Management
    • View and manage alerts in a dedicated alerts screen.
    • Configure alerts filters.
    • Mark alerts as new, reviewed, paused, and closed.
