Control-M/EM PANFT.9.0.20.211

BMC Software is releasing patch PANFT.9.0.20.211 to correct a problem in version 9.0.20.200 of Control-M/Enterprise Manager that has the Control-M Managed File Transfer plug-in installed.

Note

You must first install Control-M/EM version 9.0.20.200 before you install the patch.

Installing the Patch on UNIX

This procedure describes how to install patch PANFT.9.0.20.211 on UNIX:

Before You Begin

Begin

  1. Extract the patch installation file that you obtained into a temporary directory with the following command:
    tar -xvf <tar file>
  2. Stop all Control-M/EM Servers.
  3. Run the following script:
    <temporary directory>/PANFT.9.0.20.211/setup.sh
  4. Follow the prompts.
  5. Start all Control-M/EM processes.

Begin

  1. Stop all Control-M/EM processes.
  2. Double click the relevant patch installation file according to your version of Windows.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions until the installation is complete.

Uninstalling the Patch from UNIX

This procedure describes how to uninstall patch PANFT.9.0.20.211 from UNIX.

Begin

  1. Change the directory to:
    <EM_HOME>/patches/PANFT.9.0.20.211
  2. Stop all Control-M/EM Servers
  3. Run the following script and follow the prompts:
    unInstall_PANFT.9.0.20.211.sh script

Uninstalling the Patch from Windows

Begin

  1. Through the Windows list of apps or programs, select Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.20.200 Patch 11.
  2. Select Uninstall.
