Control-M/EM PANFT.9.0.20.202

BMC Software is releasing patch PANFT.9.0.20.202 to correct a problem in version 9.0.20.200 of Control-M/Enterprise Manager.

This patch is for Control-M/EM version 9.0.20.200. For Control-M/Server version 9.0.20.200, you must install patch PACTV.9.0.20.203.

Installing the Patch on AIX

This procedure describes how to install patch PANFT.9.0.20.202 on AIX.

Before You Begin

Obtain the installation package via EPD, as described in Obtaining Control-M Installation Files via EPD.

Begin

  1. From a temporary directory, extract patch PANFT.9.0.20.202 by running the following command:
    gunzip -c <tarfile.tar.gz> | tar xvf –
  2. Stop all Control-M/EM processes including Control-M Web.
  3. Install the patch by running one of the following scripts:
    <patch-extract-location>/out/Unix/setup.sh
    <patch-extract-location>/out/Unix/PANFT.9.0.20.202_AIX_INSTALL.BIN
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions until the installation is complete.
  5. Start Control-M/EM components.

Uninstalling the Patch from AIX

This procedure describes how to uninstall patch PANFT.9.0.20.202 from AIX.

Begin

  1. Stop all Control-M/EM processes including Control-M Web.
  2. Change the directory to <EM_HOME>/patches/PANFT.9.0.20.202
  3. Run the following script:
    unInstall_PANFT.9.0.20.202.sh
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions until the uninstallation is complete.
  5. Start Control-M/EM components.
