Control-M/Agent Legacy Utilities Deprecation

BMC is alerting you to a change in support, in accordance with the BMC Software Product Support Policy.

As of August 2025, the Control-M/Agent ctmdefsubtab, ctmdeftab, and ctmgrpdef legacy utilities are deprecated for Control-M 9.0.22. The End of Support Date for these utilities is scheduled with the release of Control-M 9.0.22.100, planned for May 2026.

BMC recommends that you use the ctmdefsubfolder  and ctmdeffolder  utilities and update any relevant scripts that contain the legacy utility names. The ctmdefsubfolder  utility enables you to define a new sub-folder instead of the ctmdefsubtab utility, and the ctmdeffolder  utility enables you to create a new SMART folder definition instead of the ctmdeftab and ctmgrpdef utilities.
