Announcing the end of support for Control-M for AWS plug-in 

BMC is announcing that the Control-M for AWS plug-in will be deprecated today on October 21, 2024, and will be end of support on January 1, 2026. BMC will only handle critical bugs and discontinue delivery of new enhancements.

This change is in accordance with the BMC Software Product Support Policy.

BMC recommends that you use the following Application Integrator based AWS plug-ins: 

  • Control-M for AWS Batch
  • Control-M for AWS Lambda
  • Control-M for AWS Step Functions

These Application Integrator based plug-ins provide the same plug-in functionality with enhanced authentication and security.

You can run the Control-M Migration Tool for Integrations to migrate the Control-M for AWS plug-in to the supported Application Integrator based AWS plug-ins. For more information about the migration tool, see Control-M for AWS Plug-in Migration Tool.
