Availability of Logs for Cyclic Jobs Issue and Resolution

CTM-7398: Control-M Workload Archiving does not collect job logs for cyclic jobs with a rerun count greater than 5.

Until BMC releases a fix pack to address this issue, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Control-M/Server machine.
  2. Shut down the Job Info service, by running the following command:
    ctmsca set-desired-state -s=ctms-job-info-service Down
  3. Open the ctms-job-info-service-application.yml file from /CTM_HOME/services/config/ in a text editor.

  4. Add a new parameter under the log-service heading, as shown below.
    Begin the parameter line with an indent (using the tab key).

    log-service:
    limit-range-between-run-counts: 100

  5. Restart the Job Info service, by running the following command:
    ctmsca set-desired-state -s=ctms-job-info-service Up
