Launching TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform as a reporting user
You can cross launch to TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform after logging in to the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse console as a reporting user.

Logging in with the other authentication types
Do the following:
- Log in to the host where TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse is installed.
- Navigate to the following path:
<tssadw_installation_directory>/shared/bdi/bin - Run the rbac.properties specific ETL using this command:
nsh run_etl.nsh -s1 -f rbac.properties - After successful ETL run, launch the following URL:
https://<TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse hostname>:<portNumber>/tssa-dw - In the User Name and Password fields, enter the credentials of the reporting user. By default, the password is hidden. To view the password, click
.
- From the Site list, select a site. The Primary Site is the default site.
- From the Authentication Method list, select an authentication method. SRP is the default authentication method.
- Click LOG IN.
In the Roles window, select the role that you want to use and click OK.
You are directed to the Home page of TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform.
Logging in with the Remedy Single Sign-On authentication
If TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse is integrated with Remedy Single Sign-On, you can log in as a reporting user with the Remedy Single Sign-On authentication.
Prerequisites
Make sure that the Remedy SSO configuration tasks are completed. For details, see Remedy-Single-Sign-On-authentication.
Procedure
Do the following:
- Log in to the host where TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse is installed.
- Navigate to the following path:
<tssadw_installation_directory>/shared/bdi/bin - Run the rbac.properties specific ETL using this command:
nsh run_etl.nsh -s1 -f rbac.properties After successful ETL run, launch the following URL:
https://<tssadw_host_name>.<domain>:<portNumber>/tssa-dwExample: https://tssadw_host.bmc.com:9443/tssa-dw(% class="auto-cursor-target" style="color: rgb(0,0,0);" %)
- Click Click here to login with RSSO.
- Enter the credentials of the user that you created for the Remedy Single Sign-On authentication, and click LOGIN. If you have multiple sites, you are directed to the Site selection page. Otherwise, you are directed to the Roles selection page.
- On the Site Selection page, select the required site and click Next. You are redirected to the Roles selection page.
On the Roles selection page, select the required role and click Next.
You are directed to TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform for accessing reports.
Logging out of the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse console
Use the following procedure to log out of the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse console.
- Click Log Out at the top right of the console. The login page of TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse is displayed.
- (For Remedy SSO authentication)
The log out option is not available for the logged-in Remedy SSO user because the user session remains active in Remedy Single Sign-On. To delete the session, close all the browser windows.
