Connection status of TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse remains unchanged with the Oracle repository

If TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform is installed with the Oracle repository, while adding TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse as a component in TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform, the component status remains Updating.

Workaround

  1. Log in to the repository database with the Oracle user credentials that you used to install the repository.
  2. Run the following command to change the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse to Disconnected:
    UPDATE tsr_component SET CONNECTIONSTATUS='DISCONNECTED' WHERE TYPE='TSSA-DW' AND SEVERDNSNAME=’<FQDN of TSSA-DW>’;
  3. Wait for five minutes before checking the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse status in TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform.
