Managing sites
TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse sites and the reports data warehouse are set up during configuration. After configuration, you can make changes to your sites and the reports data warehouse. After installing TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse at the primary TrueSight Server Automation site, you can add more sites for reporting by using the console.
If you have more than one sites configured, ensure that you configure passwords for the databases of all TrueSight Server Automation sites expect Primary Site. This can be done by using the Configure Password link on the Configuration > Database Details page. For more information, see Setting-database-passwords.
Before you begin
(For SQL Server only) Assign the sysadmin role to the reports data warehouse user. This user needs this role to create the linked server. You can revoke this role assignment when the site addition operation is complete.
To add a new site for reporting
Launch the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse console.
- From the Configuration menu, select Database Details.
- In the Site Details section, click the Add Site link.
On the Add New Site page, enter the required information to add a new TrueSight Server Automation site for reporting:
Click the Add Site button. The Last Task Details page confirms that the site has been added.
- After you add a site, run the extract, transfer, and load (ETL) process to transfer data from the site to the reports data warehouse.
To view and modify site details
Launch the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse console.
- Click Configuration > Database Details to display the details of the primary and other sites.
- In the Site Details section, click the Modify button next to the site that you want to modify.
On the Modify Site Details page, modify the parameters, as required:

Port number on which the TrueSight Server Automation database server listens
SID (Oracle) or Database Name (SQL Server)

User Name
Logon name for the TrueSight Server Automation database user
Password
Password for the TrueSight Server Automation database user
Confirm Password
Confirmed password for the TrueSight Server Automation database user
Click Update. The Last Task Details page confirms whether the details were modified successfully.
