Configuring for disaster recovery

You can configure TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse and TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform for disaster recovery. The following scenarios are supported:

  • Scenario 1: Data warehouse and reporting applications using the same database server
  • Scenario 2: Data warehouse and reporting applications using different database servers

Prerequisites

The TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse and TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform are installed and configured on the primary node.

Scenario 1

In this scenario, the TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse and TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform applications use the same database server.

Do the following:

  1. Install and configure TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse on a standby node.

    Do the following:
    1. Install TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse. For instructions, see Installing TrueSight Server Automation - Data Warehouse.
    2. Perform the Disaster Recovery Install - Setup additional TSSA-DW node using existing or standby warehouse database option. For more information, see Configuring-TrueSight-Server-Automation-Data-Warehouse.
  2. Install and configure TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform on a standby node.

    Do the following:
    1. Install TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform 20.02. For more information, see Installing TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform in the disaster recovery mode.
