You can run the Maintenance Tool in a graphical user interface or from the command line.
To run the Maintenance Tool in a UI on Windows
- On the computer where you want to install the product, extract the downloaded product files from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) site to a temporary directory.
- Navigate to the \Disk1\utility folder, and run the TssadwMaintenanceTool.cmd file.
To run the Maintenance Tool in a UI on UNIX
- On the computer where you want to install the product, extract the downloaded product files from the EPD site to a temporary directory.
- Navigate to the /Disk1/utility folder, and run the TssadwMaintenanceTool.sh file.
To run the Maintenance Tool from the command line on Windows
On the computer where you have extracted the downloaded product files, from the \Disk1\utility folder, run TssadwMaintenanceTool.cmd
To run the Maintenance Tool from the command line on UNIX
On the computer where you have extracted the downloaded product files, from the /Disk1/utility folder, run TssadwMaintenanceTool.s
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
