26.1 enhancements and patches
26.1.00
Use agentic AI capabilities to get insights into patching operations.
Administrators with the BLAdmins role can use TSSA Operations Analyzer directly from Microsoft Teams to gain actionable insights into patching operations. TSSA Operations Analyzer analyzes live data from the TrueSight Server Automation database and surfaces relevant insights within the Teams interface. This integration eliminates the need to switch between multiple consoles, review logs, or run reports. By using natural‑language queries in a Teams chat, administrators can quickly obtain contextual information about patching activities. Operations Analyzer helps identify patching failures by highlighting affected jobs and servers, enabling faster issue assessment and quicker corrective actions. This enhancement improves operational visibility and accelerates troubleshooting, allowing administrators to respond to patching issues more efficiently. For more information, see Using the TrueSight Server Automation Operations Analyzer to get insights into patching operations. Microsoft Teams chat shows TSSA Operations Analyzer reporting patch compliance and server counts by operating system.

Restrict user access and job execution during maintenance with the Infrastructure Blackout Window
As an administrator, use the Infrastructure Blackout Window to automatically restrict user logins and job execution during planned maintenance in your TrueSight Server Automation environment. Instead of manually coordinating access, enable a single blackout window to block unauthorized users and their scheduled jobs. Users or roles in the allowlist can continue to perform limited operations for validation. After an administrator enables the Infrastructure Blackout Window, the system automatically enforces the restrictions consistently across the TrueSight Server Automation Console, BLCLI, and REST APIs, helping ensure safe upgrades and stable maintenance activities. For more information, see Infrastructure Blackout Window.
Managing the Infrastructure Blackout Window configuration using BLCLI
You can now use BLCLI to configure and manage the Infrastructure Blackout Window by defining authorized users, enabling or disabling the blackout window, and configuring or retrieving custom login messages. These commands help administrators control user access during planned maintenance or upgrade activities. For more information, see InfraBlackoutWindow BLCLI in the TrueSight Server Automation Command Line Interface documentation.
Support for new platforms
TrueSight Server Automation supports the following new platforms:
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 16 (Unified Product Installer, Application Server or PXE/TFTP server, RSCD Agent, NSH, Patch, Smart Agent, Smart Hub, Provisioning, Virtualization, Native installers)
- Oracle Linux (OL) 10 (available through the public repository only)
For the complete list of supported platforms, see Supported platforms.
Compliance content update
A new CIS for the Oracle Enterprise Linux 9 compliance template has been updated. For information about downloading and updating the template, see CIS: Oracle Linux 9.
Support for secure uEFI boot support
TrueSight Server Automation supports the use of Secure uEFI for booting hardware over the network during provisioning. You can enable Secure uEFI by using the same virtualization command that you use for other provisioning time configuration tasks, such as enabling memory hot‑add or CPU hot‑add. This support allows secure uEFI settings to be applied by using the existing virtualization workflow without requiring additional steps. For more information, see Preparing the UEFI booting.
Support for third-party software
TrueSight Server Automation now includes the following updates to key third-party components and platform support. These enhancements improve security, compatibility, and platform coverage.
- OpenSSL library updated to version 3.5.4
- Redis Server updated to version 8.2.2
- Microsoft Visual C++ updated to 2015-2022 Redistributable
For more information, see Supported platforms.
